The Blueprint Development Meeting

The Blueprint Development Meeting is required for the proposal of the Richterworks Platinum Custom Web Design but is available at additional cost for all service levels or as a stand-alone service. The purpose of the meeting is to assess and discover the following needs:

  • Marketing (existing and integration)
  • End user demographics, needs, and expectations
  • Layout for site and pages
  • Functionality needed or desired
  • Design requirements
  • Collateral needed from client and to be provided
  • Supplemental site needs (copywriting, SEO, databases, etc.)
  • Basic web organic search engine optimization.

The Blueprint Development meeting and the follow-up proposal give the client a blueprint for the website including site architecture and many suggestions for design, layout, content and collateral. As part of the Custom Web Design process or as a stand-alone or combined service, this meeting requires an initial investment.

Website Evaluation

People ask us all the time to "just look at my website and tell me what you think" or "tell me what it needs". That can take a lot of time and there are many levels of information. While we are happy to look at it for a minute and tell you if it needs to be redone, a real once-over requires time, expertise and tools. To do this properly, we offer a website evaluation in which we will tell you if we find anything wrong with the following:
  • Design - is it appealing, are the colors good for the web, is there enough contrast in colors, are there too many fonts, is the important information above 'the fold'?
  • Coding - what does the inside of your site look like and are there any big concerns or red flags?
  • Browser Appearance- is it visible and usable in the major browsers? How will it present on mobile devices?
  • Load time - does your site take too long to load and if so, what is causing this?
  • Message/Content - is your message clear, does your site answer the major questions of who you are, what you do, where you are and why I should use you (as opposed to your competiton), and is it easy to contact you?

Website Maintenance

Richterworks does maintenance and updates even on sites we did not create. As long as the site is in a language in which we work, we are happy to provide this service on an hourly basis. For projects over 4 hours we are happy to provide a proposal.
